Clothing & Accessories

No special clothing is required – we recommend casual clothing with flat shoes. For ladies, no skirts nor dresses please!

To safeguard our customers and our staff, we may require you to wear a face covering and/or take a lateral flow test on the day of flight, depending on the COVID-19 situation at the time.

The aircraft has a five-point harness to keep you safe and secure. We are able to assist you with fastening/unfastening the harness but please be aware that the harness needs to be positioned close to intimate areas of the body. If you require us to supply a qualified member of staff as a chaperone to help you adjust the harness for a safe fit, please let us know when booking.

The aircraft sits quite high off of the ground. We will provide steps to help you step onto the wing, but it is best to discuss any mobility difficulties you may have when booking.

Cancellations

Red Dog Aviation Ltd reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time and for any reason – this may include but is not limited to poor weather conditions, operational reasons, aircraft downtime or safety reasons.  Your voucher will remain valid and you will not be due a refund from a cancelled booking as a future date will be offered instead.

Flight Restrictions

The maximum weight for safe operation of the Bulldog at Redhill requires a limit of 90kgs for the student/customer. Weather conditions on the day may affect this, so please inform us as soon as possible if this would affect your flight.

It is a legal requirement to operate the aircraft within the Pilot’s Operating Handbook limits. We reserve the right to weigh students/customers if we consider there is a possibility that these limits may be exceeded. If you are unable to fly due to a failure to inform us of weight exceeding 90kgs, we reserve the right not to offer a refund.
